NO-BUDGET FILM WORKSHOP

JULY 27TH - JULY 31ST (SCREENING ON AUGUST 1ST)

The No-Budget Teen Filmmaking Workshop is a collaborative, five-day program hosted at BOXCAR designed to introduce teenagers to the art of filmmaking through hands-on learning and creative teamwork. This year, participants will work together to produce a short film in one week under the guidance of artists, filmmakers, and media educators in a supportive, educational environment. A screening of the final films will be held on August 1st, 2026.

All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent to participate. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the workshop. Boxcar is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone. Participants are expected to treat fellow students, mentors, and staff with kindness, courtesy, and respect at all times. Failure to follow these guidelines or uphold this standard of conduct may result in dismissal from the workshop. Registration is considered complete after the required payment has been submitted.
