Horrors of Spider Island (Ein Toter hing im Netz) [1960] follows a sleazy talent agent and a plane-load of glamorous club dancers who crash on a remote island where a mutant spider turns the agent into a goofy "werespider" monster. If you love cheesy, campy 1960s drive-in cinema and the ultimate exploitation film, then this is absolutely your kind of movie as it leans heavily into 1960s Euro-sleaze, featuring the stranded dancers lounging in skimpy outfits, swimming, and engaging in dramatic catfights. Plus, you know, there’s a werespider.
