Experience one of the most stunning, emotionally resonant visual love letters to modern dance ever put on film. Directed by Wim Wenders, it acts as a tribute to the legendary German choreographer Pina Bausch, who tragically passed away just as filming began. BOXCAR is collaborating with the Alabama Germany Partnership to bring you our first German Language FIlm Series, spotlighting four films to showcase German art, language, and cinema on the second Tuesday from August until November.

Arrive early for a meet and greet starting at 6:00pm to connect with German speakers, cinephiles, and locals. Screenings will begin at 7:00pm.
